What a Week It’s Been!

What a week it’s been! A week of intense study, a week of learning, a week of frustrations, and a week of conclusions. The biggest news, for me that is, is that yesterday I FINALLY paid off my university student loans!

I also FINALLY figured out how to reinstall my wife’s Windows setup (could anybody tell me why anyone would subject themselves to such a mad computer system?) and get it onto the home network I have set up here. She’s back online now!

And all throughout this I have been steadily studying HTML, JavaScript, XHTML, CSS, XML, and such so that I can put together my personally-designed new blog through Movable Type. I also received my new 3D CG software Carrara Studio 2, which I am eager to start using, but will wait until my blog is up and my design work for my father’s university homepage is done. For now I am reading the rather hefty manual.

It’s exciting when the brain is active and there are new things to learn and be busy with. This Spring has been more than just a reawakening. There are new shoots sprouting, too, from long dormant seeds.
