		<description>Yup, burdock root burger it was... fairly common. In recent years, as in Europe, Japanese have been moving away from the fast-food franchise frenzy of the 80's and 90's and going back to their traditiional fare. Even MacDonald's, due to plummeting sales, has had to resort to introducing hamburgers that contain Japanese ingredients or even their recent "Mac Grand Burger" which consists of fresh ground beef, rather than their usual frozen cardboard patties.

Actually burdock root burger tastes really good... the "patty" is a mix of spiced burdock root and slivered carrots with a fried egg and soy sauce, and the "bun" are two flattened disks of rice that look like the traditional bread bun. </description>
