- A German/ Filipino/ African American who grew up in Japan, it is not so much my genetic heritage that wakens my sense of belonging, but the way it feels to move winthin a landscape and get to know its inhabitants. Ask me what I would most like to be doing any given day and I will most likely answer: going for a slow walk through the woods alone with my camera and sketch book or with a good companion. I do best with few walls around.
